Photography Tip:
Off center the picture. A good photography rule is known as the rule of thirds. The rule of thirds is distinguished by dividing a picture into thirds vertically and horizontally, as pictured below, and placing the point of interest at the intersections. This makes the picture more aesthetically pleasing. This is not a rule to use 100% of the time but is a good guide. Use your judgment but don't be afraid to try it out.
In the example below I placed the horizon line at the top third of the picture. I also have the road leading off to the right. Notice the difference from the picture where the horizon and the road are in the center of the picture.

One more thing, most cameras focus on the center of the lens so you may need to focus on what you want clear and reposition the camera.

I just got through learning a fun Photoshop technique on how to make any photo into a coloring book page. Photoshop is so much fun! I've included the link if anyone is interested. The instructions are for Photoshop and there is also a link for Corel Paint Shop Pro in the second paragraph.
